This is from when I was a senior in high school. It was made about 2 years ago. I look like total shit because it was cold outside and I hadn't showered in like 2 days haha. I felt the urge to work on both my tonality and phrasing by working out this portion of the Danse Bacchanale by Saint Saens. I make a look of disgust as a mess up a shift near the end of the phrase :P
Update: This week I will be making a few short videos to showcase some of the techniques and things I am currently working on. Also, I'll be taking requests! I'm going to try and play the Berceuse and Finale of Stravinski's Firebird Suite this week and on friday I will be checking the poll to the right to make a recording of what ever you guys vote on! Feel free to comment and make suggestions as always. Thank you everyone.
this is such a talent, nice to see and hear. thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove the hair!! Very talented; I can't wait to hear more!
ReplyDeleteTo all the viewers, this video was created after the posts "More Melody" and "Welcome", so this particular recording is almost 4-5 months newer meaning more practice and development took place leading to this recording..It's interesting to me looking back at these and hearing the subtle tonal changes. The post "For fun" was created very recently. Looking ahead, I will be creating more recent videos for the blog this week..I hope to have a new post every 1-3 days :]
